Major Events of our 4 day weekend (5 days for the kids)...
Friday: Hojoya Festival at the Hakozaki Shrine (Tim, Dayle, Etsuko, Mari, Andrew, me)...Tim's 2nd visit...parts were more like a fair...LOTS of great food, fun, and friends...won 2 new turtles for our classroom!

Saturday: FIS Sports Day at Momochi Beach, staff get together at Linda's, Karaoke Wedding Shower for Akino and her husband (Jenny, Dan, Dayle, Ali, Lori, Me (a girl's name), Masami, Yumiko, Tim, me) at The Sound Village
Started the day with Sport's Day...GO YELLOW! We won!
Tomo was on the green team.
Reina and Go were on the blue team.
Aya was on the red team.
Daiki was also on the blue team.
Ili and Kouhei were on the yellow team with me.

After a much needed 2 1/2 hour nap, it was karaoke time at Sound Village to celebrate Akino's upcoming wedding! It was all you can drink and dinner was included as well. I ate CHICKEN HEARTS!!!!!!!!! Didn't hate 'em, but definitely not my favorite food!!! Not sure I would have eaten them if I had known what they were! Passed on the raw chicken! Pasta was delicious! This place had themed rooms. We were in the "Post Office" room! Had a blast singing and dancing the night away with fun people! Congratulations, Akino!
